Oberon Council - Sale of Land For Unpaid Rates
Oberon Council is progressing the debt recovery process for properties with rates and charges outstanding for more than five years.In accordance with Sections 713-726 of the Local Government Act 1993, Council has resolved to proceed with the Sale of Land for Unpaid Rates for nine properties where all other reasonable recovery actions have been exhausted.
Elders Emms Mooney will offer the nine assessments for sale by Public Auction on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 10:30am in our Bathurst Auction rooms at 151 William Street, Bathurst.
