Hugh recently joined the Emms Mooney team in 2022 as a rural sales agent based in Bathurst servicing the Central Tablelands of NSW. He is a fifth-generation farmer from Gippsland in Victoria, with a Bachelor of Farm Business Management from Marcus Oldham College. He brings 16 years of experience in the agricultural industry across Gippsland Victoria, Pilbara Western Australia and Fitzroy Queensland.
Notably, Hugh has experience managing large scale grazing properties ‘Brambletye’ in the Tasmania midlands where he managed a major development resulting in a significant increase in irrigated crops, livestock numbers and infrastructure and ‘Swatchfield’ a high-capacity mixed grazing property in the Central Tablelands of NSW.
Hugh brings a diverse wealth of rural knowledge and enthusiasm to the Elders Emms Mooney rural sales team. Leaving no stone unturned, he will always endeavour to find the best results for his clients.
Hugh lives in Bathurst with his fiancé Hayley and newborn daughter Ayla. He is an active member of the community and loves all things farming.
